Our Biodegradable PES - EL fabrics are
made from PrimaLoft® Bio™ fiber-certified biodegradable yarns.
Compared to traditional recycled polyester (Recycled PES), they offer
significantly higher degradation rates.
Biodegradability Test Results:
- Landfill: 93.8% degradation in 646 days
- Ocean water: 86.1% degradation in 1563
days
- Household wastewater: 17.8% degradation
in 241 days (significantly higher than Recycled PES)
With single jersey and interlock knit
structures, these fabrics combine high performance and tested durability,
making them an excellent choice for swimwear, sportswear and ready-to-wear.
Their biodegradable composition supports sustainable fashion while minimizing environmental impact.
